Portillo's Hot Dogs

The best beef I've had. I love getting to Portillos whenever I am in the Chicago area. Beef combo, dipped with hot peppers, cheese fries and a chocolate malt. Yum. The best 2,200 calories you can have in a sitting.

What else can be said about Portillo's that hasn't already been said? It's a Chicago mainstay with absolutely incredible food at a very reasonable price. One thing you may not know is that they have some of the best ribs around. I consider myself a rib aficionado, trying them almost everywhere I go... especially in the Chicagoland area. I can tell you that Portillo's ribs are in my top 3 favorites of all time. Incredibly tender with a great sauce. If you haven't given them a try I highly recommend you do so!

An absolutely delicious trip. My fiance insisted on visiting Portillos while visiting their family in Chicago and I cannot give enough praise for the experience and atmosphere. The Italian Beef sandwich was filling, delicious, and inexpensive. I had it dipped and filled with peppers and mozzarella, with a side of fries.

Messy but worth it. And the slice of chocolate cake for dessert was moist and packed with Rich flavor. Cannot recommend Portillo's enough. A must visit at any of their locations.

Portillo's has been a place for outstanding comfort food/"fast food" since I was a kid. We were out and about yesterday and decided to stop at this particular franchise location which I have visited numerous times. This is a great place!! The employees are so outgoing and friendly and we were happily approached from the moment we walked in the door until we walked out. The food was delicious as always and was exactly what I was looking for and expecting! What I always remember from my prior visits and really enjoyed was the decor!! The inside is so amazingly cool!! Old advertising and rock and roll!! I highly recommend this establishment as a great place for a good lunch or tasty dinner!!
