Amazing food & friendly service. Not what you expect from a restaurant in a train station!
Absolutely delicious dinner, and great atmosphere.
Expensive but worth it. The food is terrific, as is the service. And it's a place where you can take your time and not have to shout across the table to converse.
I won't lie to you. This place isn't cheap - expect to drop around $150 for a couple to do it right here with appetizer, entrée, wine and dessert. But it's GOOD.
She started with an asparagus soup w/ lobster bits in it. I had the gruyerre tart. The tart was great. I didn't try the soup.
The pheasant was pleasant, but I was most intrigued by the venison sausage chunks and believe they could make a dish featuring them rather than serving them as part of a side. Her filet was rather tasty, but not quite on par with Chicago Cut or the like.
We finished off with meyer lemon creme brule. In a word: awesome.
Over priced and not worth it. There is cozier and more romantic places in Evanston with same quality of food but cheaper. Have nothing bad to say about the service, it was very good. Maybe its just not my price range.
