Great tacos!!! Authentic and delicious. It was our first time here (for take-out) and our family will be back.

Famous Taco Burger is the real deal. Authentic tacos, delicious and so reasonably priced. A great addition to this area of Central Street in Evanston. Yummy and will be back..a lot!

This place just opened on Central Street. I ordered 5 chicken tacos. I was impressed. The green and red salsas that came with the tacos tasted very nice. They were spicy! The corn tortillas were nice too. Inside the tacos are chicken, onion, and cilantro. These aren’t what you’ll find from taco bell. These are authentic style. It was delicious! Juan greeted me when I came inside and he was very kind. I will definitely come again and try everything on the menu.

Edit: Now it has been 5 months. They have added more specialties to the menu and they have different weekly items. Now they have flautas, horchata, milkshakes, tortas, and salads. Juan who is the owner is the nicest guy. I had the chicken tacos today. So delicious! The Salsa Verde was perfect as well as the tortillas!

If you’re in the area you HAVE to stop by Famous TacoBurger. We ordered a cheese burger, fries, chicken and steak tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back again for more!

Great local gem!

We had a very good lunch here today. The patty melt was excellent and the fries were extra crispy, which is just the way I like them! I'll be going back soon to try the tacos.
