I visited here 3 years ago for a school field trip for art class & let me just say... It's very beautiful & well maintained & very peaceful & calm. Love it so much. Also the cafe they have is so affordable , very great latte , drinks & food. Especially their pumpkin spice ❣️ i would 100% recommend going.
I had a wonderful time with my partner exploring the beautiful gardens! Even though it was for kids, we decided to play the garden bingo game with the stickers right inside before you enter the gardens. We loved seeing all the flowers and even spotted a chipmunk! Although it was crowded in some places, we still felt safe. My favorite part of the trip is a tie between the bonsai garden and the rose garden. Since it was hot, we didn't stay as long as we had hoped, but we will be back again as it cools down. I definitely want to do the tram ride next time we visit! 🌹💐🌻🌸🌲
One of the most amazing places that I visited in Chicago, no words can describe how wonderful this place is .
It s like small paradise on earth.
Amazing plants, flowers and trees from all kinds
Different amazing colors that relieves your eyes from the daily routine.
The place is so clean and beautifully organized.
It s a wonderful place to take many nice pictures.
The staff are friendly and the tram tour was very useful to know more about the place.
A place where you can spend 5 to 6 hours enjoying without feeling the time.
Great place for a family outing, to hang with friends or a romantic date! The Chicago Botanical Garden is an exceptionally beautiful place with its thousands of trees and numerous flower gardens. Coupled these with the garden's picturesque walking trails and breath-taking scenic views, its like being in paradise. If you're limited on time, make sure you visit the Japanese garden and cross the "zigzag" bridge to "leave those bad spirits behind." It does cost a pretty penny to park you vehicle ($30). The "grand tram ride ($8 per person), comes with a guided tour and a ride around the entire park. Highly recommended if you want to get away for a nice peaceful day vacation experience. A beautiful garden, in full spring bloom, with paths, bridges, ponds, plants, trees, peace and sunshine, a nature lovers paradise. My favorite is the English garden. Go see for yourself. Visit the Cafe and take a picnic to wander the grounds, or sit by the ponds, very socially distanced. The garden shop is fully stocked with keepsakes , gardening tools, books, and plants for your own garden.. Plenty of parking, after your 30 minute drive from downtown Chicago in good moving traffic north. Well worth a visit.
