Sweet Basil Cafe of Hanover Park

I think that this was the best restaurant experience I have had in a long while. Our waitress 'Bartholomeow' was friendly and funny. Refills came in a timely fashion. The menu is large, and each item that came to the table was delicious. The cheeseburger soup was delicious, and so were the mozzarella sticks. However, the real star of the show was their fried chicken alfredo. Absolutely delicious, and the portion size was rather generous. I will certainly be back in the future, and if you're in the area, come and try Hanover Parks newest hotspot.

Visited this restaurant on Friday. This is my new favorite place to eat! There are so many great choices to fill any appetite, and not kidding, fill you they do! I had the philly beef , so tasty, and my companions were pleasantly surprised by the quantity , and quality of the breaded pork tenderloin dinner! Plates are full, loaded to the hilt with meat! All of their food is made from scratch, the owner informed us. Such a friendly staff, waitresses are quick and happy to be there, most of all made us feel welcome and looking forward to coming back again and again. With a modern look , the place is well lit and clean. You will not be disappointed with this place. We will definitely be coming back, absolutely! Thank you!

All day breakfast? A dog patio? Huge portions. Great food, great service. Hoping this gets enough attention so they don’t shut down. Way better than previous restaurant. Definitely a great addition to our town.

Huge Portions, Delicious Food, Wonderful Service! If you haven’t been here yet, now is the time. I came in with my mom and we got the appetizer Explosion Platter- which was way enough to feed 5- everything was delicious on it, my favorite being the chicken tenders and pickle fries! Best fried pickles I’ve ever had. I also had the crème brûlée latte and the Garlic Crusted Chicken Panini, my mother had the Cinnamon Roll French Toast Combo! Everything was delicious and I will definitely be back! And I loved the tri-colored pasta, a great side especially in the summer, light and fresh!

Saw the new open signs when driving by and had to stop in and check them out.
Today was their first day open and they were generous to offer a stuffed French toast loaf as a thank you for visiting- it was crisp on the outside soft and delicious on the inside. What a way to start the meal!
My wife ordered the garlic crusted chicken panini I ordered the bourbon burger. The portions are huge, they definitely feed you well here and the price is absolutely reasonable for the amount of food you get. The burger was cooked perfectly and the bourbon sauce was amazing.
The garlic crusted chicken panini was great very crunchy. We got a chicken tortilla soup and it was made different than I expected but it was a tasty soup and the home made tortilla strips made it. We also got a side of the orzo pasta salad and it was to die for, one of the pear pasta salads I’ve had in a very long time. We will absolutely be back to try some of the many items on their extensive menu.
Also they have an amazing drink bar with smoothies, coffee and lates and refreshers we tried the fresh squeezed orange juice which was good and the raspberry refresher which was light tasty and refreshing, and a double espresso which was perfect. 🤩
