The Original Nana's Hot Dogs

Their food was good. The service was pleasant. The only thing is they forgot to give my daughter her drink. They weren't super busy, but it seemed like one of the cashiers was new and still training. I haven't returned since then. If they honor the missing soda when I do visit again I will upgrade their review.

Nana's has been making quality dogs since before I was born. Quality is up there with Gene and Jude's - hot dogs are served Chicago style with the hand-cut fries on top. Pizza is average but the slices are huge. The orange dream shake and vanilla malt are excellent with a meal or for dessert. Best fast food in streamwood, hands down.

The meal deals are perfect for when my co-workers and I want to order delivery. Very promt as well! Not a fan of the cheese sauce, but everything else it's great!

It was awesome 4/5 years ago but recently they have changed. The hot dog n fries to name just one thing. They now serve their fries greasy and only partially cooked and the hot dog itself went from a great hot dog with snap to a miserable excuse for a red hot in which you play tug a war when trying to bite into it. Oh and they really jacked up the prices. REALLY NANA'S??? $3.45 FOR A REHEATED SLICE OF DRIED OUT DOUGH. THEY ONLY MAKE PEPPERONI PIZZA FOR A FULL PIE. IF YOU WANT A SLICE WITH YOUR HOT DOG, IT' A REHEATED SLAB OF CHEESE PIZZA WITH SLICES OF PEPPERONI SLAPPED ON TOP AND TOSSED IN AN OVEN TO DRY IT OUT SOME MORE. NOT a happy camper.

Always a great meal at a good price. We've been going here for over 30 years now and they never have let us down. Consistent quality of food and service... Thanks!
