Moreno's Mexican Restaurant and Salsa Bar

Loved our dinner at Morenos! Wife had steak tacos and I had the quesabirra tacos. Both were excellent. Lots of meat. Served hot and full of flavor. The rice and beans are quality - not like that cheap kind most Mexican restaurants serve. Chips are tasty and the full salsa bar was fun to try a bunch of different ones. Will def be back - weekly if they start serving fresh margaritas!

Oh my gosh! Fantasticcccc authentic Mexican food! Our entire family loved it! We stopped in for a quick bite...so only ordered steak & chicken tacos. We tried every salsa on the salsa bar...such great variety! Service was perfection!

Food did have the authentic touch…but needs more flavor/seasoning. It’s almost as though things were purposely blander.
The salsa bar is a great idea but some were definitely watered down same for the agua horchata. My favorite salsa was Molcajete style😋
We had the mole enchiladas and spice was there but needed more seasoning/flavor. Grilled chicken plate-same thought, more flavor needed. Tried the Al pastor taco, not sure what brand tortillas they use, not a fan, the meat was great quality. Going to give it one more try and order different dishes. Prices are average or same as other places. They do have specials on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Awesome addition to downtown lemont! Really tasty salsa bar, awesome quesabirria tacos, chile relleno was good, sweet folks running it. I can't wait to go back and try more!!
