Katz's Gyros

This place is AWESOME. Please do not be deceived by the negative reviews!! The food was made fresh and was very flavorful, the clean ambiance was very pleasant and the 80’s music was a very nice touch (I love the 80’s)! the staff were also very nice and knowledgeable. Don’t be too harsh on them, this is a new restaurant and they’re still finding their footing.

I had the hot dog combo, and my mom had the gyro. We both loved what we got. Will definitely be a returning customer!

I was hesitant to try Katz from all the reviews, but don't be deceived! I ordered the Chicken Caesar Pita, along with a Chicken Gyro with fries and the food was delicious and hot! The pita breads could have been toasted and the fries could have been less salty, but I wouldn't have deemed then inedible. The chicken gyro had nicely cut slices of meat and a lot of it! The chicken in the Caesar Pita was cooked to perfection, it was very moist and delicious. The cashier was very friendly, and patient with me as it was my first time there. Overall I had a great experience, and would go again! I would recommend to my friends and family. And I am happy to see another business grow in Franklin Park.

Katz's Gyros was delicious. Good food at a good price. They just opened and are figuring out the flow of the restaurant to please all their guests. Great family atmosphere and super friendly owners/management! I will be back.

Food is delicious portions are served on very large plates which makes them look very small. A bit pricey but the quality is good. Could have different choice of cheese for example nacho cheese for fries. Hamburger is very yummy and the king gyro is the best in my opinion. This place does not do combos so expect to pay extra for your side and drink. No bathroom come prepared or go across to La Carreta Mexican restaurant.

So I can't be to rough... I came here on the grand opening so I can't expect everything to be perfect. The place was actually pretty nice and clean.... great location on my route to work. The food took a little long but the beef wasn't bad... I actually enjoyed it... I tried out the creamy chicken rice soup and wasn't totally satisfied... it was more watery than creamy with very limited chicken and rice... but like I said it's the first day. I will come back to see if they have improved
