    I love Portillo's. Everytime I am in the Chicago area I have to stop there. I wish they would expand down state closer to St. Louis. There Chicago style hot dogs are great. I always get the Italian beef with both hot and sweet peppers. Yum! They also have good fries. They have plenty of other food that I have not tried but I am sure it good. If you haven't been yet you should definitely add it to your list.

    Have been a customer for many years and the quality of the food continues to be consistently great; even better at times! Fast service with a smile, and you get to really have it your way! Absolutely the best!!!

    The beef was great. The lines were not long to place my order and the customer service is good also even though everything you say to them they say right back to you. I thought it was kinda robotic but i guess it works. My sons fries were so fresh and hot and i was excited for that cause all he really wanted was those cheese fries and strawberry smoothie.

    I flew in from California and headed straight to portillo's. That should be enough for anyone. It may be a chain, but it's the best local chain you'll ever come across. It's better than in and out Burger. There, said it. I usually get an Italian beef with hot peppers, a large fry, and I just discovered that I like their chocolate malt better than I like their chocolate cake shake.
