Sallora & Sam Bakery Grill and Catering

The bakery goods looked outstanding, but I needed lunch in a hurry. They had a shawerma wrap special: 2 wraps for $9.99. I tried one beef and one chicken shawerma wrap. Both of them tasted bland. I will keep this place in mind when I 'm not pressed for time, and craving baklava. But I wouldn't recommend the grill items I tried. The employees were VERY nice and friendly.

The best shawarma in Chicago. This is the first time I tried them food. I will come again to try the whole menu. Thank you guys for good food and service.

It’s a one of kind place, the ambience was amazing, it was a complete Arabic themed restaurant. Loved the interior decor and also the place was pretty huge the food was delicious, we ordered veggie platter and kabob platter. Both had good combo of samplers, the falafel and chicken kabobs were mouth watering but the lamb kabob was average. The pita bread had a garlicky flavor and the hummus accompanied it greatly
Overall the experience was awesome and would definitely recommend anyone who wants to experience a different cuisine along.

I always use to go to Sallora in Syria and the same guy I use to see over there opened here. I was so excited me and my husband went there and the food was out of this world. As for the sweets they were fresh and delicious. The waiter was a young lady she was so nice and sweet, her service was grate. I would definitely go there again

Absolutely great!! Nothing like its desserts and sweets. The place need more waitresses, however the owner was friendly and helpful, he made sure everything is as good as possible for us. Definitely gonna come back again
