Isela's Tamales

The tamales are FIRE!! Moist, airy (not dense), and fully of meat. I bought the rojos con pollo, verde con pollo, rojos con puerco, and a oaxaqueño para rematar 🫔
The family devoured them!!

For me, the oaxaqueño was top notch and by far my favorite kind of tamal to eat!! It was SUPER moist and almost gooey…and LOADED with sauce, meat, y muchísimo SABOR. Just the way I like them. The champurrado was also very good.

This was my first time trying Isela’s Tamales and I know the wifey will send me to Isela’s for otra dozena 🫔🫔🫔

I LOVE this restaurant! Me and my family have recently started going here but we have fallen in love with the food, the service, and the whole experience. It feels so comforting when you eat there. It’s nothing fancy but you can tell that their food is quality. I’d recommend getting their chicken tamales with the green salsa and some tacos con asada because their asada is so juicy and tender and overall just delicious. The workers are extremely nice and friendly and work fast which I appreciate. I have nothing but good honest things to say about Isela’s and you should really try some if you’re in the summit area.

Nice for tamales , as they have to be done with good amount of chicken in it not just two stripes also the oaxaqueños are pretty good

Let me add that the champurrado and the atole are really for these days of cold

Went here when it first opened and they had 6 days in. I forgot to make a review but as I come in again I had to remember to review it. The tamales were so delicious and the Chile oozed out of the tamales. The arroz con leche was perfect and hit the spot. The lady was so sweet and she also was a reason why I went again. I liked it that I have told people about it and they as well loved it
