Really good Chicago style hot dogs and milk shakes. hamburgers and cheeseburgers are legitimately the best I have ever had. Just beware that when the weather is nice the line can be pretty long. It is cash only.

Absolutely the best burger! If cheeseburger are your thing, you get a choice of either Merkt's cheddar or American cheese; where are you going to find that at a tiny little place?? The BEST. And, after years of cash only they now honor debit and credit cards.

Their burgers are so good you will definitely be back for more. Keep in mind its a small little shack. No bathrooms and barely any indoor seating. In warmer weather there is outdoor seating available. That being said, be ready to wait outside a bit as the line tends to be a bit long. Also, burgers are best eaten fresh on the spot (personal preference) vs taken to go. Enjoy!

This in the kind of hole in the wall place that everyone is looking for. We knew it was a good stop from the billowing clouds of burger scented smoke and the line out the door. In fact that's my only complaint. There is very little room inside so if it's raining you'll want to take your food to go.
It was fun to watch my food get cooked to perfection while I waited for what seemed like only a few minutes. My burger was delicious. Fresh bun, juicy meat and quality toppings. The fries were fried to perfection. Just the right amount of crisp and then lightly seasoned. My Oreo shake topped it all off perfectly.
This is now a place I will go out of my way to stop at next time im anywhere near the area. Just have to remember to have cash on had as that's all they take.

One of my favorite spots. Their burgers are simple but has an incredible taste. I like to accompany the char American burger with a side of fries and a large black cherry drink. As well as the food being amazing so is the service. These guys are great. You won't be disappointed here.
