The Beacon Tap

Stopped in for a few Smoked wings and to grab a beer.
My server Erin alerted me that Goose Island was doing a tap "takeover". I decided to jump in. Wow! I've never been a Goose fan. This was surprising and AMAZING!
Way to go Erin, selling me on the "takeover". My smoked wings never tasted better then with these GREAT beers!

Looks like nothing special from out front, I've driven past it hundreds of times. The inside is completely different. Very nice environment with modern decor. Friendly service, good food at fair prices, great drink selection also reasonably priced. They keep the place very clean. A bonus for the gentlemen... The urinals are made from old beer kegs... You won't see that often!

Definitely coming back here again. It's a very fun place for a meal and drinks.

Enjoyed an early casual dinner at this bar/restaurant on a Saturday night. Service was good as was the food. Not a broad menu but some interesting choices. We began with the fried cheese curds appetizer that quickly set itself set apart from any other cheese curds by its smooth and creamy pickle dipping sauce. The main meal consisted of the beef brisket sandwich that offered a significant portion of quality smoked meat. Will definitely return.
