This place was an amazing find on our adventure. After a long day at the Chicago Botanic Garden we Googled local places to eat and found Valor. We were seated right away and our service was great! We ordered a cheeseburger and a vegan burger, they were both delicious! I appreciated the vegan options in the menu. The ambience of the restaurant is very cool too! Kinda fancy, relaxing and casual.

Nice setting, very good service, good drink/wine selection. The food is good not great. For the suburbs, it is very good, but there are a dozen restaurants in Chicsgo at the same price point that are better.
Would I go back again? Absolutely

This place is amazing! We came in on a Sunday and had the popcorn cauliflower for a starter. They were so tangy and crunchy; deep fried in tempura. Literally out of this world. Then we had the fried chicken family dinner with a side of the spicy Szechwan green beans which were so flavorful with the sauteed wild mushrooms that are marinated in an aged balsamic. The flavors and spices they use are so different and authentic, its unlike anything I have ever tried. Don't even get me started on the chicken. Probably one of the best, if not the best fried chicken I have ever tried. The meat just fell off the bone effortlessly, it was seriously succulent and juicy covered in the most crispy exterior. They give you a side of this delicious honey butter that you can dip your chicken in. We ended our meal with the L 'Ami Jean rice pudding which was honestly the best rice pudding I have ever tried, not exaggerating . Every inch of the pudding was freshly made in the kitchen and is so authentic. They definitely reinvented rice pudding and took it to a whole another level. Oh, you have to try the ice cream too. It's freshly made as well whipped up in their kitchen! When it comes to authenticity, flavor, spice, quality, freshness, and originality, these people have got it hands down.
