Taverna Naxos

Excellent addition to Wilmette. We had a good experience overall. The service was good and attentive (they changed the AC settings as it was literally freezing inside). The food was excellent (we had several starters and chicken).
My only comment goes to the decor and ambient, I honestly believe that pictures of Mykonos and Greek statues are a bit tacky as well as playing old Greek music (it would be just great to tune to a contemporary Greek radio).

The food at Taverna Naxos is excellent. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and the varied options on the menu. I recommend the filet kabobs!

The food is absolutely delicious! I love the customer service, all the staff members have been so helpful, patient and super sweet and kind. The food is absolutely amazing and I have been there several times. The ambiance and environment is very calm and peaceful, absolutely love the colors and everything about it from ground to ceiling. I really love their interior design and colors. The food is very tasteful, decorative an absolutely delicious. I love the environment how when I go in to eat and by the time I walk out of there, I don't smell like food! One of my favorite restaurants.

Had the pleasure of dining here twice. The octopus was meaty and seasoned just right. The kalamaria was ever-so-lightly battered and absolutely delicious. The New York strip steak was so tender I probably could have cut it without a knife. The grouper filet was superb.

Not to be missed are the desserts - especially the baklava cheesecake and the chocolate cake.

Service and management are outstanding. Keep up the good work!

Great atmosphere with even better food! Everything I tasted was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and attentive.
