Great place classic staple in the neighborhood. Authentic fast food paradise . has been in business for a long time..get a chilli dog or a cheese dog..or a patty melt. Those are my favorite!!!! ????

The best gyros ever! Meat is juicy, yet with crisp bits. Pita is nicely grilled and toasty. Only complaint is I want more onions! Love raw onions!

When it comes to traditional Greek fast food, East of Eden's is great. The food tastes as awesome as you'd expect, but lacks some details.

The menu is, by no means whatsoever, small, but don't think any of it turns out low quality. The gyros, the seafood, and the baklava all come out as amazing as you'd hoped. Unfortunately, when ordering gyros, I expect to see that famous Greek white sauce they make being included as a condiment, but it's nowhere to be found unless asked for it.

As for the environment, it's very clean and well lit, but the service is somewhat stale. While the food comes out quick and without issue, all the staff seem to look lifeless and without personality. Don't come here for a smile, come here for the excellent food. Almost gives me a Soup Nazi feel when coming here, but by no means are staff rude, just... lifeless.

Overall, I love East of Eden's, but some other Chicago area Greek joints give you what East of Eden's lacks. Definitely a B+ grade!
