    The veggie pizza we got was pretty alright, but the sausage mushroom was perfect. Can't decide if I like this more than my long standing favorite of Lou Malnatis. Way to make it a tough decision for me!

    Made a reservation and called ahead of time to have the pizzas ready for when we got there. It took a few minutes for when we got there but when it come out, it definitely lived up to our expectations. I would definitely go back.

    What a deliciously burnt gem of a place. Some of the best deep dish/pan pizza in town. The restaurant itself is a novelty that's worth the visit. Do yourself a favor and try Burt's at least once.

    PS: There's a heated patio!

    Only deep dish pizza and they burn the crust at that. Not my favorite. Located in a residential area parking at Burt’s is available on the street but that's no big deal because the indoor dining area is small. The service, however, is very, very friendly.

    Oh man. I’ve lived in the Chicago area my whole life, and Burt’s pizza is as good as anything in the city. They have an outdoor patio during the summer, and a great atmosphere indoors as well. I have visited four times now, and each time is as good as the last. With $2 Coors light drafts and phenomenal pan pizza, I cannot recommend this place enough. Just wish I could have stopped in when Burt was still around!
