I always love eating here. A fave since I was a kid. Good food and good prices. And the service is always friendly.

Clearly liked by locals, but IMO it's just OK. (I don't live in Chicago now but grew up there and know a thing or two about Chicago gyros and hot dogs.) Gyros were mediocre. Spaghetti was flavorless. Burgers, fries, OK. Hot dogs small and totally unexceptional. It worked for my large party on a snowy day because we could get in while nearby Kaufman's was packed. But maybe there was a reason for that. I wouldn't return unless nothing else were available.

I will say that the staff seems very friendly, and the guy who seems to run the place is a go-getter.

So, so Delicious! Ah why don't I come here more? It's late (8:40pm.or later) freezing cold Friday night Hubs is brightly lit and warm inside. The staff are friendly (3 staff manning the front counter). I order the special 2 chicken kebabs over rice, a quarter of a baked seasoned slow cooked potato, a large portion of mixed vegetables, and a pita all for just under $10.00. My food was hot and so good. The chicken was not over cooked. Veggies were green beans, broccoli, and carrots perfectly cooked. I had enough veggies to share with my hubby. My husband ordered the skirt steak sandwich it came on toasted French bread. As he was munching away on it he said, "I'm going to have to remember this, I've got to get it again".

I have been coming to Hub’s since I was a kid. I heard the burgers are amazing, but I could never order anything other than Gyros, because it’s just too good to pass up.
This is my favorite place to eat...period!!!

Really like this place for a local shop. Gyros they do well, also the Chicken is usually pretty good. This place is an old staple in the neighborhood,
