The hot sauce is the second highest and packed a tasty spicy punch. My lips are still sizzling a bit. The cassava fries were decent considering that I generally don't line yuca fríes and these are similar. The service was friendly and prompt. No wait during lunchtime.
Not a bad place. Chicken is really good, just very long wait times
When you go to Porto's Peri peri one of four things will happen:
1. They take forever to make it
2. They make your order wrong
3. They forget to make it
4. They actually get the order right and on time (low chance)
edit: as of recently, they've gotten good at being on time. Changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars.
The food here is amazing. Also I have noticed that the service speeds have improved significantly over the years.
The chicken is always seasoned right and is a great healthy choice for me and my family. I recommend getting the leg quarters if you're a fan of dark meat.
I will say however that there are times that the chicken seems undercooked on our last few visits.
Also I did notice that they have cut back a lot on the condiments such as ketchup and moist towelettes for cleaning your hands.
