(December 20, 2018, 2:13 pm)After years of being a Panera Bread patron, I am now switching my loyalty to Corner Bakery. My past several visits have shown me that in general CB has better overall customer service and the food quality is on par with PB, but better prices for a greater value. During my last visit to CB, I ordered a DC Chicken Salad sandwich, and they allowed me to substitute the chips for a fresh greens salad at no extra charge. The salad was a good portion. Also, CB doesn't have the pressure to tip at the register like PB; Something just doesn't feel right about that. I only wish there were more CB locations near me.
