Tasty Crab Cajun Seafood

Went with my wife on her birthday and we got clam chowder and shrimp(no head) and snow crab, a lb each. We did tasty crab special sauce. It tastes great, does have lots of flavor and it's not overly salty, unlike many other places.
Our Server Kevin is great, checked in two times with good timing. Offered cheesecake for my wife's birthday. Many restaurants don't do that anymore, very appreciate the thoughtful act and great service.

We had a really great experience at Tasty Crab. We enjoyed oysters, crawfish, catfish, snow crab & shrimp - everything tasted fresh! Our waiter Kevin was on the ball and had a great sense of humor. People complaining about lack of season need to dip their bites in the sauce in the bag. The medium spicy Cajun had plenty of flavor with just enough heat. I really liked that the atmosphere was comfy - nice booths and cozy feeling. It's not all hard chairs & crowded table seating like this style of restaurant often is.

I ordered shrimp and lobster and they were both good as well as the potatoes and corn. I ordered the seasoning “mild” but maybe I should have gone medium or hot because it wasn’t as flavorful as I was hoping. It’s definitely worth a repeat visit. Our server, Eli, was very attentive.

First time here & my best friend & I were highly disappointed. The seafood lacked seasoning & flavor, mind u I got hot & it wasn't even a little spicy. The only good thing that was actually yummy was the hush puppies & the coconut shrimp. For the price you pay, I definitely don't recommend this place, The Boiler on Dempster is 100000% better. Sorry not sorry.
