    Nothing super special in the dessert department, its soft serve and shakes, things along that line.
    But it is good, I do plan on coming back.
    Plus the small shop atmosphere and location over in downtown Palatine is a nice area to get a snack and walk around with the younger siblings or with a date.
    I recommend giving My Flavor It Place a try.

    Great small shop with different treats. Shaved ice with a plethora of different flavors and ice cream many different ways. Prices are reasonable and portions are great.

    Not an ice cream shop. Chocolate and vanilla soft ice cream - that's it. And $4 for a regular cone with no toppings that was not very big. The flavor was good but not a very good value. The staff were fine, no issues there. I'll stick with the cross town competition though. If you want a shaved ice / snow cone treat then this is your place.
