Great ice cream. Can't recommend that enough. Don't buy cake from them, though. Shoddy quality and poor taste.

Home made icecream parlor is one of the best places around for icecream. You can even buy it in containers and take it home for another time. Large parlor but seating is limited. There is seating outside as well. Lots of flavors and dishes to chose from. Good prices too.

Great atmosphere and great ice cream selection. The coffees pretty good too. We’ve never had a bad experience in this establishment. Even at their busiest with lines out the door, the staff are always willing to let you try out the new flavors. And the flavors are great! They have your standard flavors as well as your more unique flavors, having something for whatever you’re craving. I’ve never had a bad flavor here. The malted milk shakes are great. My only complaint would be everything is so good it makes deciding difficult. Love this place so much I proposed here!

I live in the city but look forward to treating myself to Plush Horse whenever I'm in the southwest suburbs. I have yet to find another ice cream place in Chicago that has such rich flavors, heavenly texture, and doesn't feel too heavy after devouring a whole cone.

Everyone has their favorite ice cream place, and for most of my life mine was Sherman's in South Haven Michigan... Until I went to The Plush Horse. What makes them stand out is their insane selection of flavors, and the fact that all of the flavors taste REAL. So many ice creams taste like artificial flavor nowadays, but Plush Horse clearly uses real ingredients to create their flavors. Make sure to step out of your comfort zone and try something unique here.
