Yolk - Oak Park/River Forest

The food is always great at this place.... I have been eating here when the name was Grandma Sally's... I was upset to find out they changed the name but Me My wife and granddaughter decided to go and give them a try. And to my surprise we see the same beautiful faces and the same beautiful service.... Thank you to our beautiful waitresses Kathy1 Kathy2 and yes Kathy3 they were such a delight to have!!!

The food was flavorful and hot. The service was good, wait time was not that long. The portions were big, neither me nor my daughter finished our food. Definitely returning!!!

Delicious food when thoroughly cooked. But some portions are small and prices are high even for the good sized portions. I had the Cinnamon roll French toast. One half of the three small pieces of French toast was soft indicating the egg in it wasn't cooked. Even after having half of my wife's meal as she eats very little, I could have eaten more. It was nice that the waiter told me that the apple juice portion was very small. So I didn't order it. We won't be going there again unless we are desperate or they lower their prices.

Loved it! My daughter and I frequented the Yolk in Wicker Park often. When she saw that we had one much closer to home she was ‘egg-static’ to say the least. Great food, nice people, fun atmosphere! Super safe too. We will be back!
