Worth the wait! The food was amazing, the service was awesome do to our wonderful server Marisa! I tried to eat the Nasty Skillet but it was so big I could only eat about half, omg so tasty! And the ginormous pancakes, well those came home with us, they are literally the size of dinner plates and so Thick and fluffy. Can't wait to try them after my food coma nap. Highly recommended and worth the 45 minute wait!
This newish establishment is excellent! The food is great, the dining room is large and doesn't feel crowded.
The only negative is that the building construction makes the place extremely loud even when people are speaking in normal voices. As this is a remodel of an existing building in not sure the problem could have been solved. But it's a minor complaint about a really fine restaurant.
I would say this was just plain and simple a great experience. Over portion amount of food worth the price the nasty biscuit and Southern Fried Chicken were awesome. Great vegan menu for my partner and nice open and clean restaurant. They always seem packed and are doing very well in Schaumburg. I will be back and next time I will definitely have to have an actual breakfast item.
The food was great and the service was fast. Everything on the menu looks amazing and I can't wait to go back and try the next thing. I could go back every day for a month and still have something new to try. The portions are big and the prices reasonable for the amount of food you receive. We all had enough in our take home box for a second meal. Only downside is that it is packed after 9am. We had to get there at 8:30 in order to to skip a long wait. But it was worth it. Will be going again soon.
Mother’s Day was expected to be busy. Party of 4 and we were sat quickly. Too quickly, there were larger groups of people waiting but they didn’t want to sit at two or three separate booths so I suppose we got lucky with our seating situation. Hosts were way over whelmed and weren’t properly trained or just didn’t know how to do their job after being trained.
My family and I pretty much got a little bit of everything but mainly biscuits which were good. The home made jams were flavorful. The apple butter and honey butter were mouth watering good. The cinnamon swirl pancakes were sweet but the perfect kind of sweetness. The nasty biscuit was delicious but the hash-browns were a little flavorless and under cooked but the chicken was great and all the other flavors came together perfectly. The two omelettes that we’re chosen, the inners, were portioned properly with the eggs. Portions are huge so get ready to take home left overs.
Great inside decor but the parking lot was a disaster zone (but again Mother’s Day) can’t wait for outside to be done. Bloody Mary’s were fantastic, coffee was great and water was well, water, but they do serve it in a cute mason jar.
I can’t wait to go back and try everything else!!!
