Had a fun night celebrating our engagement from 5 years ago. They gave us the exact same table, private corner booth, and were very accommodating. Food and service was excellent. Fun way to celebrate and enjoy a nice dinner.

Five stars for the food and more importantly our waiter, Tim, who was the absolutely best. He knew what was good on the menu, he was great for conversation, customer happiness and seemed to handle the busy Valentine's week like an absolute pro. I would go there again if I knew he was working. Everyone else was okay.

The food was excellent but service was not. At all. Not having been here before and noticing a small stove in the center of the table, we asked the server how the restaurant worked. What we got was "you order from the menu and we get it for you." We had a few more conversations about the combos and pricing and we gave up trying to get a clear picture since he was very sassy about it. Things like "Well if I were you I'd do X to save money, but if you don't want to save money and have everybody eat whatever they want, then do whatever, waste your money, it's better for me".

We ordered, receive the food and notice it's all raw food. He says it's 2 minutes for everything but the shrimp which is a minute and a half. I'm sorry? What is going on? Then he explains the food is raw, we cook it ourselves by putting it in the pot and we need to measure the time the food is in. This is the kind of information we wanted to have in the first place when we asked how the restaurant worked, not when we're given the food. We almost got up to pay and leave to go eat somewhere else.

Now we had to setup timers in our phones for how long the food was to be there cooking. Make sure you don't go over the timer or your meat will be overcooked. Not what we were looking for when looking to a relaxing dinner.

If I'm so unhappy with the service, why 3 stars? Well, the food is actually great. All the meat is well seasoned and had great taste. If you follow the timer it is just right. The fondue is great and so is the chocolate dessert.

Be aware that the entire group can only have on cheese type since there's only one small stove. The broth at the bottom of the menu is the broth you will be cooking the food in. Our server just said "I'm picking the vegetable for you" and grabbed our menus and left so we didn't know what that was for until we got the food.

Maybe try going for lunch or early afternoon and see if service is better? For what we paid and the service we received, I don't think I'll be going back so I doubt I can update my review after a second visit at a different time.

The food was delicious and the decor gave it a wonderful atmosphere. Ricky was a wonderful server, and Robert the manager was very accommodating. Definitely try to make a reservation: they will get super busy.
