Maoz Falafel & Grill

I love this franchise for being my favorite fast food, but first time I came to the Woodfield Mall, sadly the attention was horrible and they could not even give me a carrot juice !! arrive at 825pm and close at 900pm, I will never understand and I apologize for my 3 stars, at this time you are successful and I support you, but you must be more careful in the quality of service and attention!

One of the healthier places to eat at the mall. The falafel bowl was really satisfying. Falafels are super crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Pita bread had a little black toasting on top and is nice and soft and thick. Really good!!

My mom and I wanted something fresh to eat so we decided to eat here and the service was slow and the staff didn’t even know what they were selling. Once I got to eat my food I noticed a HAIR on my pita sandwich and I was positive it wasn’t mine because it was all the way in the bottom of my sandwich. When I went back to cashier I politely asked for a refund and the cashier refused to refund my money claiming that they can’t refund for debit cards but he could’ve just simply given me the money for the sandwich back in cash. Absolutely terrible and I feel like I’m going to get sick from eating here. Worst $23 I’ve spent.

Edit: One of the managers AJ was able to fix this problem and he went the extra mile in order to refund my whole order instead of just refunding the sandwich the hair was on. This absolutely changed my opinion on the restaurant and I would consider going back there whenever I can. AJ took great responsibility which shows how much management cares on making their restaurant a safe and clean environment to eat in.

Falafel is my favorite food and this place does not disappoint. Really good food. Fresh, delicious, lots of options. Friendly staff, a bit slow but overall great experience.

Edit: went back today. Quality way down. Lettuce was terroble. Falafel was like a rock
