Byrds Hot Chicken Schaumburg

The overall experience was amazing!!!

We ordered 2 number 1’s with medium spice level which was just the right level of heat. The fries that it comes with were very delicious but the cheese fries were even better. We asked if we could swap the potato salad for mac and cheese which they unfortunately ran out of :( Later the owner Umang came to our table and delivered a container of mac and cheese that they freshly made just for us!

The service, food, and atmosphere was perfect! Would definitely come back!

Ok experience, but not great.

I visited Byrd Hot Chicken Schaumburg with my family, and we all had mixed opinions about the food. I ordered the combo sandwich, and it was just okay. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, but the bread was a bit dry.

The customer service was nice, and our server was friendly and attentive. However, we were served in to-go boxes while dining in, which was a bit strange. I'm not sure if that's their normal practice or if they were out of dine-in plates.

Overall, I had an okay experience at Byrd Hot Chicken Schaumburg, but I wouldn't die to go back. I would recommend it to people who are looking for a casual and affordable place to eat, but I wouldn't expect to be blown away by the food.

Also , they use the “Crescent brand” chicken . They are halal.

10/10 on flavor and service. The chicken was tender, crispy, and bursting with flavor. The owner was super helpful, and gave suggestions on what to order based on his knowledge. This place is the go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying meal. An amazing experience overall.

Ordered the Byrd Bomb and it was AMAZING! The chicken has to be one of the freshest and well cooked I’ve had in this area. I’ve been to the Byrd location in Algonquin which was good, but they somehow took it to the next level over here!
