Fat Rosie's Taco & Tequila Bar

I had the garlic shrimp dish (pictured). I also had many appetizers and drinks but was too hungry and thirsty to take photos of them! It was great to see the pleasure Fat Rosie's takes in celebrating guests' birthdays (pictured). The furnishings in the restaurant are very festive and a lot of fun.

Carlos, the manager working the evening I visited, was amazing, and our server was excellent. The executive chef and general manager introduced themselves to me and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience.

Fat Rosie's offers phenomenal food in a very festive atmosphere. Fat Rosie's will become a restaurant I'll frequently visit.

Despite the place being packed, we were placed to a table right away! The service was average in our experience and the appetizer chips is not so bad but my goodness $9 for avocado is too much!!! I had the 3 tacos and the tortillas were cold and the flavor of the food was nothing special. It’s as if they try to make the toppings of the tacos fancy only for the flavor not to speak for itself. Atmosphere and drinks are the only things I find that this place did well enough. Food has to improve.

The food itself was good. The margaritas taste more authentic/less sugary than other area restaurants. I enjoyed my tacos as well, and it was a fun atmosphere. They have a lot to figure out with reservations however...we had a 6 pm reservation and we were seated a little after 6:30...they were calling "anyone with a party of 2? Etc..." Instead of going by reservation names for a while and it just wasn't efficient/fair.

Fat Rosie's is an awesome restaurant. All of the staff members are very attentive and helpful. Throughout my dining experience, multiple people (besides the waitress) came by to make sure we had everything we needed and to see if we were enjoying our food. I appreciated the genuine attentiveness from all staff members. The ambiance was very warm and cozy but fun as well as there are many bright colors and plants all over. I had steak enchiladas with red sauce and they were delicious. Full of flavor and the steak was tender as well. The margaritas are also a generous size and are very good. Long story short, I can't wait to come back to Fat Rosie's!

BEST RESTAURANT EVER. Let me just say this was NYE- we were seated right away. The restaurant was busy & shortly after became packed. Service was never lacking even though there was a ton of people. Food was outstanding! The guacamole was literally the best I've ever had. Our two waiters were quick, friendly and efficient. The restaurant had a great atmosphere & was handing out NYE goodies and sombreros to celebrate. Will definitely be back in the future! If you haven't yet, check them out, you won't regret it!
