Straight up, happy this place exists. Before this, I had to drive an hour to go to the closest video game local. Now it's less than a half hour for me. Go check it out
Speaking strictly arcade side here. Didn't bother with the restaurant, bar, consoles, or PC setups
Typical arcade, a majority of games you'd find at any other arcade. Everything was in flawless condition and worked fine. My main issue is how expensive this place is. $20 gets you 3-5 swipes on anything. $2-3+ dollars for almost anything? Even the redemption shop was filled with so many overpriced cheap looking prizes. The only way to make these prices "reasonable" is if you reload at the $100 rate but honestly, go do that at Dave and Busters instead. Until pricing gets adjusted a little it just won't make sense to go here for the arcade. Enterrium (the other mall arcade) is a better stop than this if you wanted to stay in the mall.
SMX was updated to 3 songs a swipe at the DnB across the street, 0 reason to go here for SMX exclusively.
Maxitune is $2+ a swipe, Enterrium is a better deal across the board for that one.
Nice variety of games. We didn’t play any, only stopped by to see what they had. Maybe we’ll try to play some next time. Wished they had more interesting/rewarding prizes that are more eye-catching :)
We went last night. It's a soft opening sneak peak. The place is obviously new and clean. It's a bit smaller than the local other arcades, but don't let that fool you. All the games are brand new and rhey have many games nobody else in Chicagoland has like over the edge. The staff was very friendly and excited about the stores opening, nothing but five star staff all the way. The prize room is pretty nice with a very large selection of toys I would say geared at families. My only hope is they add some high end prizes for hardcore gamers that fit in with the theme as high end video game swag or systems to round out the prize area perfectly. We did not eat food, I'm assuming it's good! I would definately recomend you visit this arcade asap, we will be returning often! The space is well used and the newer games have me excited!
