“This place has gone through a variety of owners but still run by the same staff. Their main seller is the low priced pizza special for $11. But for $6.95 and a coupon you can get prettyuch the same from a place on the next block. I gave up on the sandwiches which it turns out the staff dislikes making. The only reason I keep buying pizzas is because the other place closes early at 10pm and this guy stays up past 2am most days. On the other hand two blocks away there a place makes far better pizza and stays open just as late but will set you $33 a pie. So there you have it, mediocre pizza at a mediocre price available at almost any hour, means this guy still beats the 7 Eleven on the next block for my late night splurges.”

So check your order before leaving if you carry out. We are long time customers. We miss seeing Carmen. When the staff gets things right, it's a 5 star meal. We drive in from Cicero. “I tried Emilio's for the first time today. I will definitely be back! I ordered a thin crust with sausage, mushroom, green pepper, and black olive. The crust was good and held the weight of the toppings. There was the perfect amount of sauce. I point these things out because in my opinion, if a pizza is too saucy, or the crust is mushy/saggy, it's aggravating. It's just too messy. The balance of toppings was perfect, as well as the amount of cheese. Emilio's is a great, family-owned, affordable pizza place. I highly recommend it!”

“I seen this place on Groupon quite a bit but have never purchased it because I do not have the tendency to be in that area. “The food is great, the price is amazing. The decor at the front is fun. Nice amount of seating, great for groups or family eating. I do wish the theme or decor was present in the eating area for more of a cohesive feel but the buffet selection makes up for it. Only real issue is the dessert and ice cream sections aren't monitored well and there were small children all over it so it was pretty unsanitary. The service, also, only cleared our table upon request so they could be a more attentive. Nice Parking”
