Fushi Yami

Consistently great sushi! This is the best place for sushi in DeKalb. Highly recommend the Godzilla roll and any flavor of thier bubble tea.

I’ve worked at local food places previously, and Fushi Yami is hands down the only one that’s made me want to eat there even more the longer I’m working there.

I’ve been employed here for about a year and a half, and I find myself ordering pickups and deliveries even on my days off because of how great it is.

Seeing the care and proper handling that goes into the food preparation makes me always confident I’m getting quality ingredients.

The selection is amazing. Even a year and a half into employment, I’m always finding something on the menu I’m hungry for no matter what my mood that day.

The owner and manager both work tirelessly to make sure that the business is run properly and that customers are happy.

I honestly am just hands down impressed with this establishment. A wonderful addition to dekalb.

This location is one of, if not the best location around NIU's campus for high quality food at a low cost. The sushi here is very good, but has gotten slightly more expensive than it used to be. They also have hibachi, which is also very, very good. If you are looking for a break from dining hall food, and don't want to break the bank look no further than Fushi Yami!

I love this place, more for takeout tho. I spent $50.05 for two hibachi chicken and shrimps and two Godzilla rolls then 2 drinks! Not cheap and you can tell in the food!!!
