Hardee's

Always polite, food is what you'd expect from fast food but pretty fresh at least

Hardee's restaurants have come and gone in the Chicago market a few times during my lifetime. Though I have had mixed feelings about Hardee's over the years; my recent visit here was excellent.

Firstly; the restaurant was very clean and the crewmember who waited on us was very pleasant.

We both ordered the Big Hot Ham and Cheese combo because we had a coupon.

Seldom do I rave about a sandwich; but wow, this one was excellent. It was an experience that did not disappoint; loaded with ham and topped with (processed?) Swiss cheese. The cheese was melted so the flavor blended nicely with the ham.

The French fries were French fries; I don't particularly care for French fries but they came with the meal. Being diabetic, I would be curious if I could have substituted for something else; but did not inquire.

Overall, this place is a very nice alternative to the other fast food restaurants in the area.

The food is cheap and fast. I've always been serviced with a smile every time I've come here. It's within my budget and the people are nice. What more can I say about it?
