Ristorante Di Acquaviva

Delicious! The artichoke appetizer is especially wonderful. To much dressing on my friends salad, though my meal of scallops and shrimp risotto was amazing. And the tiramisu is definitely something to write home about! May have been the best part of the meal next to the wine.

The food was really good here! But my server glen was extremely rude and made my dining experience very uncomfortable. I didn’t know how to pronounce something on the appetizer menu and he made me say it and said he wouldn’t stop until I did. I told him I did not want to say it and wanted to stop but he did not. Later when we received our food he asked if we took pictures then said that no one cares about it. I understand it was a joke but it made my dining experience very uncomfortable and unenjoyable which impacted how the food was for me.

The Briana wine and Stuffed Salmon were both fantastic! (I loved the salmon so much, I tried to make a copycat at home. Not even close to theirs!) Bruschetta was delicious. Calamari wasn't my favorite. We were here for a company party, the wait staff was very attentive and accommodating. My only recommendation for them is to get a blender to make the margaritas frozen =) My husband had a steak that he devoured. And I am not sure if it was the wine or what but even the side veggies were amazing. We will be returning when we have a kids free date night!

Ristorante Di Acquaviva is a very nice little restaurant in Sycamore. I came here on Valentines Day with my girlfriend, and the service and food were both impeccable. We had a reservation, and with it, we were allowed to pick which table we would like to be seated at. From the minute we walked in, all of the staff was very polite and accommodating. On to the food: I order the lamb chop meal, and while only being singular in the title, it came with 3 massive lamb chops cooked to perfection, a long with a variety of vegetables and potatoes. I was skeptical a out the meal due to the large price tag of 40$ for just my plate, but boy it was definitely worth it. She got the filet, which was a pricey 42 or so dollars, but it was very large, and cooked excellently. Her plate came with 3 bacon wrapped bundles of asparagus, and then the same array of vegetables and potatoes. While this meal cost me over $100, I can say with a clear mind that it was indeed worth it. This is definitely a place to come for only special events, because it will make a large dent on your wallet, but you will not leave disappointed. If I manage to scrounge up enough money to come here again, I absolutely will. It was a very romantic, fun, and fabulous meal.
