Jim & Tom's Restaurant

I ordered lunch for me and my boyfriend yesterday over the phone. Jose was super nice and accommodating. Food was good but the fries were cold. We had a gyro and hot dogs. I asked for some feta and cucumbers on the gyro, no problem and delicious! The cream of chicken rice soup was definitely homemade and one of the best I've had. My boyfriend picked up our lunch but he said the rude lady that everyone has reviewed about was not there, but he does remember her from past visits, ha. I would order again! But, something that did leave a bad taste in my mouth about this restaurant was reading the reviews on Yelp and Google and reading the responses to bad reviews. Whoever is responding would be better off saying nothing. They make the restaurant look worse than the bad reviews. Very childish responses for a restaurant owner, and obviously someone who does not care about their customers, which will turn a lot of people away.

It's a really good hot dog. The soup is really good as well. The place has classic hot dog stand decor, which I enjoy. The seating area is clean and so are the washrooms and the washroom has hot water running from the faucet. I'll leave a restaurant if they don't have hot water in the restrooms cause that's gross.

The reason I gave this place a 3 star review is because I feel like it has changed owners. The old owners were better than the new one. As far as the food goes it is just ok. Not great. They have decent products just not the quality it used to be. Last time I came here it was better. Got a beef that wasn't as good as it used to be. Good fries but you really can't screw those up. Here is the final thought decent service decent quality food but not like it was.
