La Poblanita Mexican Cuisine Bensenville

We were searching for authentic Mexican food in the area and it came down to this place and Taqueria El Toreo. We ended up coming here and got what we were looking for and more.

We got the carne asada dinner and enchiladas rojas, which were both a generous portion. Both plates were exceptional, clean, and fresh. Our server was very nice and gave us a refill on our chips, which were complimentary and delicious, without us asking. We ended with one of the many unique and fun churro plates on the dessert menu and made special requests to which the server accommodated with no problems.

The restaurant is clean and neat and every staff member does a great job. This is the first food review I've ever posted in my life so I hope that goes to show how wonderful

Very friendly staff, very professional. Service is outstanding! I've had a few different things off the menu but a favorite of mine are these tortas. I've eaten a lot of tortas around the Chicagoland area and honestly

Food: amazing, tasty, and fresh.
Service: professional, kind, helpful, and attentive.
Atmosphere: clean and calm. Good music, not too loud.

Our waitress was very attentive, she even changed the TV for my kids to watch a movie. Giving the extra mile. The food was hot, and the churros were extra crispy and delicious. Overall, a 5-star place, I hope they continue the excellent service. We will definitely go back!

The ambience is nice and there’s booths and high top tables. The staff welcome you right away and they are so sweet. They took our order right away and brought us chips. The food was so good and they have hand made tortillas which are so good!!! And we even made room for their dessert! Which was so good.

The hostess and waiter were so so inviting and kind. We thought we came in too late before closing (8:30pm) to sit down, but they were happy to sit us. The agua fresca de Jamaica is the BEST I’ve ever had. We had steak tacos with their handmade tortillas and amazing salsa verde. We will absolutely be supporting this local business!
