El Mezquite Mexican Restaurant

There are only specific tacos that are $1 on Tuesday's and they don't tell you that until you're ordering. The steak was really the only good meat and we ordered 5 different kind. The waitress decided to make us wait and proceeded to take the family next to us order even though they arrived after us. I'm glad we went on a Tuesday and didn't spend alot of money. Won't be my regular spot. There's much better tacos nearby.

Decided to support this local small business on a Friday evening. It is a small restaurant with some available outdoor seating. The food was amazing, from the chips and salsa to our entrees. Everything was well portioned and great authentic flavors. If you plan to dine in I would say no group larger than 6 which hopefully with time they will grow into a larger space. Service was excellent with average timing for food. If it is busy it may take longer but worth the wait. Atmosphere is pleasant. The only con was no fountain drinks so if you order a soda you have only cans/bottles qmeaning no refills but small con compared to the amazing food. I didn’t get pictures of all of my family’s dishes but we also tried the torta cubano 🤌🏼, tampiquena, and a quesadilla which were all great and well portioned photos were quesabrilla with consome and taco dinner. Some plates do not come with sides so keep that in mind and give them a try! We will be back.
