This is an awesome place to come see bands. The food and the atmosphere is unbelievable and everyone seems like they are in an instant good mood here. The best thing about this place is defiantly Anna the bartender. If you’re lucky enough to go when she is working. She is absolutely beautiful, fun and constantly giving all the patrons attention, she takes people away from work, reality and life. I have been coming here for over a year and me and my growing group of friends come here to see her. Again, great place, great atmosphere and Anna is awesome. Come here for good music, good bartenders and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Food has been very good in the 2 times I have been there. Tender meat, excellent sauces that didn't overwhelm. Best wings I've had in a loooong time.Staff was pleasant and informed. Atmosphere was fine. Looking forward to summer car shows and concerts.
Food is much better than before! Menu is priced right for the phenomenal choices of meats. El Pastor ribs, brisket, birria.
Best in Chicago!
Live music is awesome as always! Open Mic on Wednesday nights and live music on the weekends!
👍 👌 best place in the area and they kept all my favorite staff: Anna, Liz, KO, Gina...
You must check this place out!!!
The chefs who took over the space have an awesome food menu. I had the trio of al pastor tacos and a side of elote - both were so flavorful, and the food came out super quick. In under 10 minutes.
Also had a slice of their homemade peanut butter and jelly pie. Wow. Definitely rich, I'd recommend sharing between two people, but also tasted great and was a little nostalgic.
Highly recommend stopping in for a quick bite and ordering for take-out.
I loved the place when it was Brauer house. Decided to try Humo Smokehouse for the first time today. The bands are one of the main reason that people comes to this spot. I am happy to see that continues with new owner.
The walls are bare naked, they need to add some art or something.
¡The Nachos with brisket are delicious! A little heavy on the mayo. Next time I'll ask them not to include it but the chips super fresh and crispy and the meat delicious! Yep! I definitely want to try other things from the menu.
Waitress did not bring any plates or utensils, I had to get up and grab some from the side table. They don't have a drink menu or specials yet but they just recently opened. I will definitely come back and try the birria and wings next.
