“Amazing price, we got 250 nuggets for 25 dollars and we still have leftovers 5 days. And they also have 89 cent pancakes which are pure joy. The fries were so soft and not too salty and as much as the staff probably hated cooking and counting that much nuggets, I do think they enjoyed the great laugh at 4 friends trying to eat all of them nuggets.”

Our service did not suffer as a result of this. The atmosphere is a little off and that's why I gave this 4 stars. “Fabulous chicken - great coleslaw. Even the mashed potatoes and gravy were unique. A 4-Piece dinner was $8.50. The chicken pieces weren't particularly big but they had a lovely crispy outside and we're perfectly cooked. It definitely looks like a dive but has great food”

“Grand Dukes is an interesting (in decor...it has a knights-of-the-round-table feel) place to visit for authentic Lithuanian food that is nicely prepared. They have reduced their menu offerings to less than they used to have, but still do the food well. Bring your appetites...you will be eating very hearty food that you will most likely take some home in a doggy bag with you. The chicken Vilnius is my new fave, and their kugelis, as well as potato pancakes, are excellent. Prices have also changed...(they've gone UP) but, this is a specialty restaurant that you only visit every now and then...so, it's worth the price of admission. They also have delicious soups (the mushroom is Great, along with beet soup) and nice Polish and Lithuanian combo plates that give you a nice taste of both cuisines. They do have gambling machines and offer live music on Fridays. So, if you're really hungry, and are looking for well-prepared ethnic Lithuanian food....stop in to Grand Dukes...just a stone's throw from Toyota park on Harlem Avenue. “I grew up eating beggars on the south side and it was always my favorite. This location seems to be skimping on product. The crust was not as thick, not the heart stopping amount of cheese I'm used to, and the sauce had a different taste that was not as good. The place itself seems to be well kept in terms of cleanliness. The staff was also friendly and polite. Cheese: 7/10 Sauce: 5/10 Crust: 4/10 Mouth feel: 6/10”
