    Clean inside, kind staff, great and fast food. The mcdonalds locations in Downers Grove are some of the best I've ever been to.

    It is recently remodeled but the proportion of the furniture and space is slightly off. The counter with the soda machine is really deep and wide but with only one soda machine., And the two hightop tables are so tiny with four stools look like childplay. They could potentially put in a couple more tables,, it was difficult to find a seat during lunch.

    It's not often that I visit a McDonald's based on their building's architecture (nor do I often choose McDonald's based on anything at all).   But it had me curious enough to stop in.

    Bonus:  the interior design is more surprising than its exterior.  I can only assume that before this building was McDonald's, it likely housed another (non-fastfood) restaurant or such.
