“This place is a gem. I got the noodles with bean paste, which had a ton of flavor and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Juicy soup dumplings were delicious and my bf loved his Dan Dan soup. Big portions, lunch specials, drinks and homemade kolachkes for dessert. Staff is sort of friendly, once in awhile you get a grouchy waitress. The owner is usually lurking about in an angry kind of way, but every now and then you'll get a smile from him. Last time I went there, my friends and I had a bet on whether or not he was going to be in a bad mood. The food is so good, it's worth putting up with a moody staff. The decor is charming. “The food wasn't as good as I am used to from Chipotle. I ordered a steak bowl with soft shell tortillas so I can make tacos. Something just didn't sit right with me with the food...for three days if you know what I mean. And as far as the staff...they were wonderfully accommodating and gave me another bowl to go because I voiced the fact that there was something just not right with the food. They gave me a bowl with steak right off the grill. But because my stomach was so upset, I felt nauseated just looking at it everytime I opened my fridge.”
