Friaco's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

I've tried a lot of mexican restaurants in the area, but recently tried this place, and it may be my new favorite. The tacos are larger than your typical street taco size, with extra meat, which i definitely like. Their pastor tacos come with pineapple, and are absolutely delicious. Taco sauces are good as well. They are little more expensive, but as I noted they are also a little bigger than your average tacos.

Setting looked nice, felt cozy, romantic. First time here, 4 people. Food was good, but nothing to rave about. Did like the individual salsa dishes, but chips were from a bag.
Service was friendly, but slow (3:30pm on a Sun. only a few tables filled). Other tables seemed to have better service than our waitress offered. Soft drinks & waters in 12 oz glasses, only offered 1 refill, no extra napkins, even though 3 of us had "eat with your hands" entrees.
I will give them a second chance when I am back in the area.

Went here with my sister and husband during lunch time to celebrate a special occasion. Quick to be seated, very efficient and helpful staff; the food was incredible! They brought out chips and salsa right away (we each got our own bowl of salsa! No worrying about everyone double dipping!) We got some huge burrito, different types of tacos, and I got the enchiladas with red sauce. My husband and I both commented on how it was the Most authentic tasting Mexican food We have had in a while! Loved the atmosphere, the food, and the staff. I’ll definitely be back!!

We are new to the neigborhood and love coming here. We’ve been here about five times in four months, ordered takeout at least twice and the food is always fantastic. Can’t say enough good things. Five stars for sure
