Fantastic! It was like taking a mini trip to Germany ????????. The decor was authentic, the food was homemade and delicious ????, and the best part was Johnny who's live music was second to none. If you're craving a taste of Germany ???????? and want the experience, THIS is the place to go!

The menu has such a variety that any and everyone can find something to enjoy. The schnitzels are by far the best (hence the name Schnitzel Platz). The wait on your order can be a bit longer due to it being cooked fresh.

On the weekends they have live music and it's fun singing along to the various songs. They can host big parties and I know they are able to handle large catering orders. Obviously with advanced notice. I recommend this place to anyone who has a taste for authentic german cuisine.

Authentic German fare in an authentic German restaurant environment.
Good beer and even better food. Schnitzel lovers, come forth! Over a dozen schnitzels on the menu (and I'm not counting the Hawaiian version). My favorite item actually comes from the appetizer selections:
Jager Toast---sauteed medallions of pork tenderloin with mushrooms, bacon and a wisp of onion in a to-die-for sauce. Impeccable. I would rate this as the # 2 German restaurant in the Chicago area behind Laschet's of Chicago.

If I could volunteer there and be paid in schnitzels am down for that. This isn't a restaurant it's a piece that fell from heaven. From the German atmosphere the food the music to the most beautiful couple (the owners) in the world. We are in love with this joint.
