Portillo's Hot Dogs

Delicious! Just like I remembered from when I used to live in Illinois. I had a hot beef with peppers and a couple tamales. Wonderful! Service was fast. Prices are higher than they used to be, but so is everything. Still reasonable.

What a delightful experience! Definitely a “shut up and take my money!” level of food. I had the big beef with extra gravy. Fantastic! People were nice and the fries were hot, crispy and salty.

Loved eating here.

Iconic Chicago area fast food chain serving classic Chicago-style street food. Chicago style hot dogs, Italian beef, Polish sausage, and more. They also have amazing salads if you're counting calories. As fast food goes, this is so far above the national and regional chains as to be in a league of its own but the local Mom and Pop shops are usually a little bit better.

I love Portillo's! Just a quality place all around. Good food with a great atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy. Make sure you get your beef dipped and you do not need cheese cause the meat is so succulent. The cake shake is better than the cake in my opinion but the cake is still good.

Portillo's has been a place for outstanding comfort food/"fast food" since I was a kid. We were out and about yesterday and decided to stop at this particular franchise location which I have only visited once before a few years ago. This is a great place!! The employees are so outgoing and friendly and we were happily approached from the moment we walked in the door until we walked out. The food was delicious as always and was exactly what I was looking for and expecting! What I didn't remember from my prior visit and really enjoyed was the decor!! The inside is so amazingly cool!! Old advertising for all sorts of things relating to businesses from around the area and other places as well. I highly recommend this establishment as a great place for a good lunch or tasty dinner!!
