Lots of options on the all you can eat sushi menu and everything we had was very good quality. Also was happy with the service, everyone was friendly and attentive. Highly reccomend the angel hair roll!
Best Bang for your buck if you do the Sushi Buffet. I totally recommend it. The rolls are delicious, and plated beautifully. My family loves the place and it is also very contemporary and professional inside. Their bar area is pretty darn fancy.
Very happy! The "all you can eat" was slightly more expensive than other restaurants ($25 vs $20) but the menu was more extensive, included dessert, and the atmosphere was much nicer. The waiter was friendly, offering lots of suggestions based on the rolls and items we had already ordered. My wife and I were pleased with the flavors and variety of the rolls. Around half of the specialty rolls contained cream cheese, FYI. The angel hair roll was unique and delicious. We'll definitely be back.
Amazing food and even more amazing service!! We had our 15 month old son with us and the servers along with the manager were nothing but playful and kind. Even one of the cooks came out to play. Granted it was a slow Sunday evening but we were blown by their laid back attitude and hospitality. They even gave him a free drink!! Definitely kid and family-friendly.
Nelson is the king of Honkaku, he's our guy! We've been coming since they opened and it's been awesome watching them evolve, adding amazing cocktails and soon to have hibachi! I love seeing this place get more and more popular each day, well deserved business! The sushi is the top 3 I've had in Illinois thus far. Doesn't get much better than Honkaku.
