Is usually pretty good. Daily specials are nice.
For what it is, it's not bad. Stupe basically exists as an alternative to commons food for Wheaton students, and sometimes it's a nice change. However, if you start comparing it to places serving the general public, food quality leaves a lot to be desired.
This place is so funky! They're kind of like a cafe with the heart of a big college cafeteria. So... they're not really trying to bring in new customers like a regular cafe - but they're super friendly. My parents and I were visiting the museums on campus and stopped in for a bite. I got a fairly decent veggie burger, and was tickled by their randomly giving away the dessert o' the day - homemade Rice Krispies Treats.
This food ordering took place in a rather cold, sterile cafeteria-looking room (no table service), but the dining area consisted of warm-colored wooden booths which could accommodate large parties yet offer privacy (because all the booths have extremely high wooden barriers). And then there were areas with regular comfy seating - again with the dark-wood decor. We were surrounded by students - some chatting and some clearly in the zone and cramming for an exam.
I can't get enough of their burgers. Make sure to check if they have the sweet potato fries out. Those are really good with barbeque sauce. They offer a variety of quicky prepared food but burgers and chicken sandwiches are their most popular. The greatest part about this place is that it is very rarely closed.
I'm a student at Wheaton, and this is a campus cafe. As a student, it works wonderfully for a quick lunch. The busiest of my semesters have had me in here for a salad every single day, so I really appreciate it. All the same, I know a few people who claim to be nauseated by the place, and the prices are really pretty crazy if you aren't a student.
