Outstanding! The tea leaf salad was really great. First time we have ever tased Burmese food. The chic-pea tofu has creamy texture on the inside with a crispy outside...delicious! My 11 year old daughter enjoyed the food as well. Owner was very friendly and warm, made the environment welcoming. We will absolutely be back, very happy it is a 5 minute drive from our house!
We went to Pa Lian for the first time on Saturday night. The owner spent a lot of time with us picking out traditional dishes to try. He asked about any food allergies or preferences, and kept those in mind while he chose. Everything was wonderful, and we would never have picked those dishes. My son is very picky, and the owner was worried he didn't have enough to eat. He asked if he could bring out another dish for him to try on the house. He loved it! We're looking forward to going back and trying new dishes. It was a great experience!
Amazing find in the western suburbs. Very friendly owner who personally serves the food. Recommend dishes and explained what to expect. For someone who is unfamiliar with Burmese food and culture it was really exciting because the food is so delicious. I will be a regular here now that I'm aware of it's existence! Highly recommend!
Called order in and the person that answered was willing to make suggestions. I've never had anyone do this and it was very helpful. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We were even given a complimentary salad to assure we tried unique Burmese flavors, which was also delicious. Will definitely be returning.
First time I've been to this restaurant it was amazing. The owner explain the menu and every unique dish. The tea salad with nuts was so wonderful and aromatic.I never wanted it to end. I'm definitely going back to try other entrees. Reasonable prices and a very clean atmosphere. If you are a foodie you definitely have to visit this place. Very rare to find a Burmese cuisine I'm so glad that experienced it.
