Wow! Delicious chicken gyros and 2 coronas...Yum!!! Go here along with the other Fine dine with wine eateries downtown ...and stop thinking of the Petula Clarke song ok? I had study hall where I bu milk now. Don't be like me. Go here. You won't regret it....maybe you'll be like me when food is do good I close my eyes...
Our food was so delicious! She had saganaki he had moussaka I had chicken gyros and feta fries. We had galaktobouriko for dessert. The picture is of about 1/3 of the piece!
What a great experience!! We had table of 3 people and enjoyed our food a lot. At the beginning they served warm crispy bread, it for sure must have. I had Singrida as my dish with Greek feta fries and it was delicious. I do recommend. The others enjoyed their dishes of Salmon filet alongside roasted vegetables and Pastitsio, both agreed their meals were delicious.
Definitely one of the best authentic Greek restaurants around… me and three buddies split 4 different dishes. Forget what their names were but liked all of them except the noodles dish needs something else but spaghetti. Literally a 15 buck dish was just spaghetti and some cheese. Everything is else was def worth it. Waiter was super friendly and helpful. Did the whole fire cheese appetizer where we all yell “oppa”! Waiters didn’t seem to care. Seems like a fun thing to emphasize more to get your customers involved. Overall great place for some good Greek food!
The Last Bite Food Review
Must Try: Mini Spinach Filo
Don't Try: Greek Potatoes side
My Take:
Unfortunately, another one of those just "okay" Greek food places. Spinach filo was well made, but we also had fried zucchini, which was under seasoned, and batter was super light but not in a good way? I had the gyro plate, which surprisingly stood out as not dry, not salty, and was pretty good. Unfortunately, the gyros are not house made and just bought from a supplier, so I can't really give them credit for heating up a bag of delivered pre-cooked gyros. Sorry, guys. Here's the real disappointment, the Greek potatoes were overcooked, dry, and tough. Such a simple, beautiful greek dish ruined by over-cooking and clearly left out for a long period of time. The potatoes were cold and tough, just like day-old potatoes.
To me, restaurants stand out so well when they can cook the simplest dishes to perfection, even if it's just seasoned potatoes. This restaurant seems to have potential, especially with great service and atmosphere, and I hope they turn things around.
