The food was great. I love the smoke smell from the grill area as it adds to the dining experience. Our waitress didn't really know the menu and we had to ask for refills on our drinks. The restaurant wasn't that busy either so she had plenty of time to check back with us.

The wedding soup was a tad too oily, but it was worth it for the rich flavor. The arugala salad was light and refreshing, and has got me looking for fresh figs in more recipes. Great service and ambience. I will be back.

I had the pleasure of dining here twice and the food was top notch bursting with the flavors of Italy. The tomatoes were indescribably delicious! I’ve never tasted tomatoes that were as sweet and juicy as these. The Parmesan cheese was aged to oerfection paired with a rustic French bread. I had the honor of meeting the chef co owner John Grimes who made us feel welcome and took the time to elaborate on some of the dishes. We enjoyed it so much we have decided to make this our new “go to” place. Service was fair but friendly. Atmosphere was clean, dimly lit, and pleasant. We can’t say enough about this place and feel fortunate to have accidentally stumbled upon it. We will be back for sure! We highly recommend it! So if your thinking about having Italian look no further. It will rival any restaurant in Chicago!!’
