Up North Ale House

Great service by familiar people so their turnover must be low, so they must treat their people well. Means something to me. Oh and great pizza. The crust is excellent.

This was my first time here. I was looking forward to it's arrival as I'd seen the coming soon sign up for over a year. I walked in and it immediately opens up to a swanky modern decor with open layout and upscale feel. I was seated immediately by Brian our server. I was meeting friend for drinks so I focused on that. The beer selection is pretty good, not over whelming. I asked for a sample and it arrived almost immediately. Brian was a lot of fun so a big plus on the service. The cheese and meat tray as well as the wings were tasty and arrived quickly. The beer prices were really good, available in short and tall for draft. Bathrooms are clean and modern. Great first experience and I will return.

Went there as a big sceptic cos of the reviews of the food and service. Both of it were true to a large extent. The Service was mixed with the waiter who served us wings were extremely nice and helpful. The waiter who served us food almost didn't want to be there or really thought we should be the ones obliging. The drink menu was extensive, the specials were good and the atmosphere electric. Hence the 4 stars. For sure this place can be a local star if there is consistency.

Only been there once. Good place to dine alone or with a group. There are several TV's to watch sports,etc. During our stay, we only had appetizers to share...everything was delicious. Especially the calamari, yum. The service was great. Will go back again.
